What is DigiKomi?
DoKomi's interactive online anime convention
DoKomi goes digital!
The DigiKomi is our way to fight against boredom and loneliness during the lockdown and restrictions! We have mobilized all forces to deliver at least some convention atmosphere and to make up for the postponement of DoKomi 2020!
Immerse yourself in the virtual DigiKomi world with your personal avatar! On "Creamy Island" you can wander around, visit artists and exhibitors virtually, chat with others and take part in a scavenger hunt! There is so much to explore! The VR chat works with and without VR glasses!
At the same time there is an extensive program on the DoKomiTV Live-Stage, which you can follow via the Twitch livestream. We want to encourage active participation! Show acts, workshops, community actions and talks provide great entertainment.
And if that's not enough, additional DoKomi platforms will be open, so you can go to several websites/chats and so on. On Discord you can chat with people in different (voice) chat channels on different topics and on Instagram and Twitter there will be special #hashtag contests as well!
As you can see, we have developed a wide-ranging virtual program, which should give you the opportunity to get to know new people and friends without the risk of infection. Let's interact with eachother from home and make our gray everyday life more colorful and entertained!
When and where can you dive into DigiKomi?
The DigiKomi will take place on May 23 and 24, 2020 and will take place on Saturday from around 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Almost the same opening hours as the original DoKomi event)
We look forward to see as many of you during DigiKomi Let's not give in to the boredom (and the virus: 3)!
